I just found two copies of Business Cards Of Famous People in my closet. I want them gone, so they’re up on the merch store for $3. I also added a bonus file with all of the lyrics on it, so if you want it, just re-download the album for free to get it! Please get these things out of my sight.

So, our first midwest tour was a total blast. 4 states, 8 days, 10 shows, so much fun.
We started off in Berea, playing a sendoff with Squirt Gun Warriors, Three Cents Short, and The Suburbanites. It was a really cool show. We slept in our own beds and left early in the morning for Columbus. Right when we got there, we recorded our cover of Wake Up by the Arcade FIre and re-recorded Life with Sean Kelly, who is totally awesome. We plan to go back to him in the winter and have him record our next album.
After that, we bummed around columbus for a while before going downtown and hitting up Used Kids records and passing out some flyers for the show. We hung out with the Squirt Gun Warriors and skateboarded and everyone was bad at it. Then we played with Mail Myself To Thoreau, and made the place a bit sweatier than it was before we came.
We headed to Dayton the next day, and played two shows back-to back, one in a cool record store, Omega Records, and one at Blind Bob’s, a cool restaurant and bar. We made super bank, and I can’t thank Dustie and his bands Mayliner and Ride A Tiger enough. We stayed at Sam Ralph’s house and got a preview of the new Prosper EP, and ate cereal.
We headed to Kentucky, our first out-of-state show EVER, and played with the Squirt Gun Warriors one last time and caught up with the Rough Customers! The people at the Bazaar were super cool and nice. We slept on Beth’s floor and said our last goodbyes to the Squirt Gun Warriors in the morning. Then we made a video of them doing silly stuff because we missed them so much on the way to Pittsburgh, which is a pretty long drive, and took us through West Virginia.
Pittsburgh had some really awesome bands, namely Underscore Adia (Labelmates with Wes Meadows) and America: The Robot, a really sweet indie band. Some people sang along to Holland 1945, a cover song we hadn’t played in 2 years. It was rad. We played with Nick from U*A’s cat, and it was super cute. Then we took another long drive to Philly. We hit a bit of a snag when nobody showed up to the show but we played on a streetcorner and got more reception than we had expected! Then we stayed at the Java Ink owner’s house, and attended his barbeque the next day! We got a lot of people there to buy some merch and it made up for the gas money and the ridiculous toll that we had from Pittsburgh to Philly ($25!!).
Another long drive took us to Erie PA for our last show of tour, at Basement Transmissions with a bunch of cool bands. Optimistic Apocalypse played Neutral Milk Hotel just because we asked for it! When we played, we set off some firecrackers and poppers onstage and threw confetti everywhere and felt like bigshots but then forgot to clean it up and felt bad. But then we went to Akron and Wes played with Call Me Constant at their second-to-last show ever! It was a great day. We got home and crashed and we’re already missing the road.
